Our Team

Chesco Charles Mwepelwa is the Board Chairman and one of the founding shareholders and directors of the company. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Bachelor of Commerce from The Open University of Tanzania. He is an experienced and strategic thinker and has worked with various organizations in the past at senior managerial level.

Eng. Joseph Nkijiliwa Mista is the Technical Director and also the Acting Managing Director. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Dodoma and is a certified Energy Auditor(CEA) by the Association of Energy Engineers since September 2024 with 4.4 AEE Renewal Credits of 3CPD Points Earned. He is also professionally registered by Engineers Registration Board (ERB) with registration number GE348360 in the Discipline of Renewable Energy Engineering. His Renewable Energy Practice spans from 2019 when he joined the company as a Project Engineer and has grown through the ranks to his current position and also a shareholder in the company.

Easter Elisante Sommy is one of the founding Directors and shareholder in the company. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Dar-es-salaam. She also holds diploma in Human Resource Management from the Tanzania Public Service Collage. She previously worked for Y&P Architects (T) LTD in Administration department and is widely experienced in general administration, Financial Management and Human Resource Management.

Benard Ojwang’ Okech is the founding Managing Director and Shareholder of Sepon LTD. His 7-year leadership at the company during formation stage helped the company to be well established. Benard holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) of the University of Dar es salaam and a Bachelor of Science from Kenyatta University. He is a certified Solar system designer holding a certificate in Solar and back up design from Max Solar Academy in South Africa. He has wide experience in strategic management having worked in the field of renewable energy since 2007 in both Kenya and Tanzania. His continuous mentorship to the current management is always valuable even as he does other jobs in other industries.
